Item Description

“Log Heaven” is a cabin tucked in 1.5 acres of aspen woods a ten-minute drive from the Mountain Village ski resort and fifteen minutes from the National Register Historic District Town of Telluride.  Master and guest bedrooms have king sized beds, with a four-single bed “bunk room” and a pull out queen sized sofa bed in the upstairs sitting room comfortably sleeping ten.  Fully equipped kitchen, deck with hot tub and log burning fireplace in the two-story great room.

United and American Airlines have daily, and Delta weekly, flights into Montrose, Colorado, a scenic 65-mile drive from Telluride.  A full-size Suburban with ski racks and snow tires is included with the cabin and available for pick up and drop off at the Montrose Airport.

Telluride is a laid back, family friendly vintage Victorian mining town with dining opportunities ranging from pizza and barbecue to five-star gourmet restaurants.  Shopping, arts and culture, including name acts performing live in the restored Opera House and a summer weekend series of festivals ranging from jazz and bluegrass to mushrooms, and a history museum housed in the former Miners Hospital provide entertaining diversions to winter and summer sports.

With some of America’s easiest to most challenging skiing and snowmobiling to ghost town mining villages in winter, summer is a sports enthusiast’s dream with golf, tennis, fly fishing, hiking, biking and horseback riding.  September and October in the San Juan Mountains draw photographers from around the world to capture the golden magic of aspens in autumn color.

Item Special Note
