Item Description
Cj Physical Therapy & Wellness
Dr. Carrie Jose, MSPT, DPT, cert. MDT is a doctor in physical therapy, certified Pilates instructor and certified McKenzie therapist. Carrie worked for many years in busy, traditional outpatient clinics, but grew tired and frustrated over her inability to give clients the treatment they deserved. CJ Physical Therapy and Wellness was born out of a vision to deliver expert, individualized health care with YOU as the priority, not the insurance company. Carrie develops solid and long-lasting relationships with her clients, where you can be confident that your most important concerns will always be met with full care and attention.
Carrie has been practicing PT since 2002. She received her Masters degree from Northeastern University, followed by her Doctorate from Simmons College. Carrie has a background in dance and was classically trained in jazz, ballet, modern and tap. It was this passion for movement and awe over the human body's potential that led her toward a profession in physical therapy. Carrie is certifed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (McKenzie technique), Integrative Dry Needling/Trigger-point Dry Needling, and Pilates by the PMA. She has taken continuing education courses for advanced level manual therapy and diagnostic techniques and specializes in the treatment of mechanical spine and joint problems. Common conditions that she treats include:
• Dysfunction/pain of the neck, spine and joints
• Herniated or bulging discs
• Headaches
• Running or sports-related injuries
• Repetetive/over-use injuries, sprains and strains
