Barber Cellars

Barber Cellars was established to produce high quality, hand crafted, and truly unique wines from the best grapes that Sonoma?s appellations have to offer. The winery only uses hand picked grapes from organically or sustainably farmed vineyards, makes no unnatural additions or manipulations to their wines, and uses as little sulfur as possible. Mike and Lorraine started Barber Cellars with no fortune at all, but have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of great and memorable California wine. Their first commercial vintage was 2007, pressed, fermented, and bottled at a Suisun City winery close to San Francisco. Their wines were immediately welled received with media and consumer praise in everything from the SF Chronicle to Wine Enthusiast Magazine. They are currently 100% Sonoma - living in Petaluma, and making all their wines in Santa Rosa from Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Coast vineyards. Hotel Petaluma is happy to be the new home for Barber Cellars tasting room. Located in the southwest corner of Hotel Petaluma on the ground floor, Barber Cellars is dedicated to small production, single vineyard wines from the Sonoma Coast and Mountain vineyards. The newly renovated space is perfect for enjoying some local wine, cheeses, art, and vintage game tables. Enjoy tasting for 2 people while experiencing one of the gorgeous updates to a beautiful, landmark hotel in our backyard.

They work hard to bring you goods crafted by both independent American makers as well as established brands we know and trust. Above all else they admire quality craftsmanship and beautiful design.

Hotel Petaluma

Hotel Petaluma, which opened in 1924 with a mix of Spanish Revival and Art Deco architecture, is being carefully restored to its original grandeur and enhanced with modern hotel amenities. The renovations have come a long way since they began in early 2015. The newly restored lobby and grand ballroom are stunning spaces with their period architecture, exquisite lighting and new boutique style. While most of the public spaces have been significantly restored, including the original courtyard entrance, the room renovations are a major undertaking. Room renovations are ongoing and will continue with remodeling of the hallways on the upper floors. In order to fully restore the hotel, and make it a one-of-a-kind boutique style getaway, future improvements will continue through all of 2017.

Shuckery

The Shuckery is a sweet corner spot, owned and operated by two sisters fondly known as the Oyster Girls (their catering company started prior to opening the Shuckery.)  The Shuckery works with traditional fishing communities with fishermen who wake up every morning and hit the open ocean to do what they love. The Shuckery serves you the flavorful, wild & domestic seafood you've been waiting for.
