City Treehouse is a nature-themed indoor play center dedicated to providing opportunities for learning through play.

Founded by a mother of twin girls, City Treehouse offers popular children's classes, the largest indoor water play area in New York City, and a thoughtfully designed treehouse hideout. Whether it's a trip through our signature treehouse, exploring our fiber optic cave, enjoying our distinctive water play area or participating in a class, City Treehouse will ignite children's imagination and passion for learning.

At City Treehouse, we are committed to enriching the lives of both children and parents. Our guests enjoy an environment that is both relaxing and stimulates the imagination. Designed to encourage child-directed exploration, our water table and treehouse play area present activities that require interaction. This child-directed approach fosters hands-on learning and the development of cooperative social skills. Sensory learning devices have also been incorporated in the design of our play area to awaken a sense of wonder and stimulate children to explore and discover the world around them.

City Treehouse is a reservation-based facility and limits the number of guests to ensure an enjoyable experience. Since we are a boutique playspace, and capacity is limited, it is smart to plan ahead. You may call to reserve time in our indoor playground and rest assured that it won't be too crowded.
In addition to popular classes like music, dance and crafts, City Treehouse offers innovative reading and language classes, designed to cultivate storytelling, literacy and language skills. For families who prefer a more child-driven learning experience, we offer a variety of longer, less structured and highly interactive classes. School tours, play group visits and birthday parties at City Treehouse are always a big hit. Groups of up to 50 people are welcome. Special activities or entertainment can be arranged upon request.
