Item Description
This pen is pure pink perfection! It is the Designer model, a stylish functional design, in the satin chrome finish. The body is made of pink laminated birch. This is a twist pen that opens by twisting away and retracts by twisting towards you. This pen was turned by hand on a lathe by John Baker to help Wildlife SOS raise funds. It comes in its own velveteen draw string pouch. Why not give a loved one a unique gift chosen just for them and hand made with love and skill?
The pen comes with a black ink cartridge and takes Cross Style refills.
Item Special Note
The pens for the Wildlife SOS auction were designed and made by John Baker (mostly) and Sylvie Malenfant. They are both passionate about animal welfare and elephants in particular, recognizing that their exotic nature and size leads to their exploitation and untold suffering in captivity at the hands of humans. Wildlife SOS has done so much to help relieve their plight by providing a refuge where they can heal both emotionally and physically. Their hope is that these pens will help contribute a 'small piece of the pie' necessary for Wildlife SOS to continue with their amazing work on behalf of elephants, bears and any other animals in distress with their 24hr emergency response service.
