Magnetized and Silver Leafed, with Marbled Paper designs over Glass on Board
Okay to play.
16 colorful designs were created by each child in class utilizing Shaving Cream, Acrylic paint, Popsicle sticks and Mixed Media paper. The designs were scanned, duplicated, and scaled to 2inx2in. They were then pasted and epoxied into place over mirror to make the 64 grid chessboard. Each chess piece was drilled for the inset of a magnet. The back of the chess set was then magnetized and made interactive playable and hangable.
