Set the world ablaze while you ride this one-of-a kind, hand painted Firefighter themed bike!

Here’s the story behind the bikes from Rally Cycling Creative Director Sam Wiebe:

"For our donation to the spring auction this year, we wanted a way to truly represent and honor the brave young UHCCF grant recipients our donation is meant to help.

We connected with the families of eight UHCCF grant recipients and asked each kid to share a bit of their story and, most importantly, what they think is cool.

The surveys were awesome. We got fun, unique responses from each kid and we got to work brainstorming ideas about how to distill this colorful information into compelling, cool bicycle art. Our primary goal was to have each kid look at the finished bike, smile, and say, That’s mine!”.

Firefighter is inspired by Bryce, 8, of West Virginia. When Bryce grows up, he wants to be “a firefighter, because they help save people.” The design begins with a bright, firetruck-red base-coat and is accented with real gold leaf inside the chainstays and inside the primary Diamondback logo, which is styled in classic firefighter 3D lettering. The front-end of this engine is finished with a chrome fork and pearl white cockpit. We can practically hear the sirens. Firefighter is a 58cm frame. The bike will be raced by Matteo Dal-Cin of the Rally Cycling team at the 2017 Amgen Tour of California, one of the world’s biggest bike races.

This bike is more than “just” fast, one of eight feather-light carbon fiber race bike donated by Rally Cycling. The bike is truly one-of-a-kind, with a unique, carefully designed paint job that represents the hopes and dreams of Bryce, a UHCCF grant recipient.

Bikes will be drop-shipped directly to the address of your choosing (limited to the continental U.S.). Bikes to leave CA for inspection/cleaning and will be shipped to winners the week of June 1st, 2017.
