Item Description
Local Shakespeare Summer Camp run by The New Collectives theater company's education wing, The Young Collectives.
Send us your kids, and we will send them back bonafide Shakespeare nerds!
Campers will learn about Shakespeare's life and times, his writing style and are introduced to his plays. We will explore the Bard's world through theatre games, art projects and more! The week will culminate in a presentation for family and friends, where campers will share what they learned and perform a scene (or two) from the plays they spent the week exploring.
This was my favorite camp ever...I recommend this to other kids because they’re learning while they’re having fun. It’s cool to learn history and all about Shakespeare while you’re also having fun.” - Sabrina, age 7
