Item Description
This 36" by 48" painting is classic Yucha Pak and would be a wonderful addition to your art collection. This art is currently on display at Down House at 1801 Yale.
Yucha is not only a favorite Heights artist, she is also world-renowned. Yucha began showing her work publicly in 1975 by entering competitive exhibitions. Her work has been accepted and shown in many regional and national juried exhibitions and has won numerous awards including first place in watercolor from Barbara Haskell, curator of the Whitney Museum in New York City. Since 1980 her work has been shown in galleries throughout the United States. In 1990 she moved to New york City for three years to study priontmaking and contemporary art at the Student Art League of New york City. Presently, she is living in Houston, Texas- in the Heights where she has a studio and continues studying printmaking and mixed media at the Glassell School of art.
