Item Description
Lilly was beaten by her owner and forced to subsist on what she could beg on the streets. Rescued in October 2014 with the help of Forest Department and safely transported by the Wildlife SOS team to the Elephant Rehabilitation Center in Ban Santour, Haryana. Her primary medical concerns included several neck wounds from the ropes and chains used to control her. After just a month with us, Lilly settled very well into her new home. She began to interact with the two other residents of the center, elephants Erika and Ella. She is always pampered by the Wildlife SOS keepers with lots of fruits and good healthy food.
