Item Description
Who says you can't play with food? As many of you may already know, the word "bento" is Japanese, meaning "packed lunch" or "lunchbox." In recent years, character bento or "chara-ben" has become very popular among bento makers to promote healthy eating habits to our children (and adults).
Two years ago I participated in a character bento competition, and won grand prize! I won a round trip ticket to Japan, rice cooker, and many bento gadgets!! The following year my bento was credited for a free magazine distributed in South Bay. I would like to take this opportunity and share some simple, fun techniques you can use for your children's bento!
Please let me know if there are any requests/restrictions (vegan, allergies, etc) beforehand!
