Item Description
Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles opened early 2014 in the historic United Artists building. An ornate, storied and vibrant LA gem built in 1927 for the maverick film studio, the UA theater and tower stand as monuments to a group of seminal American artists pushing out on their own, and anchors the Broadway Theater District's modern renaissance.
Mary Pickford's love for the ornate detail and stone spires of Spanish castles and cathedrals is manifest at the theater - a true temple of the arts.
The rooftop pool, inspired by Donald Judd's in Marfa, Tx, is a deep and cool respite from the Angeleno sun. Vogue poolside or post up with a fresh-squeezed cocktail prescribed by The Ace's friendly L.A. chapter mixologists. The pool's host to DJs and pool parties, as well as the occasional yoga class and pop-up shop.
Your medium room comes with a king or queen bed, fully-stocked minibar, 40" flat screen television, and a custom Revo Radio. Some rooms include an acoustic Martin Guitar and/or Ace x Rega LP1 turntable with a curated selection of vinyls from Amoeba Music. All rooms include free internet, Rudy's toiletries and Pearl+ soaps.
