INCLUDED: Round of Golf at Cricket Club at either the Wissahickon Course or the Militia Hill Course (choice of the winner). Also includes Lunch and Cart Fee’s.
WHEN: Any day in 2017 that is mutually agreed to with the host. Jim Walker, past Cricket Club President, will be your host and will play in the foursome.
PHILADELPHIA CRICKET CLUB: The Cricket Club is one of the oldest Country Clubs in the US and was founded in 1854. The Club has two outstanding golf Courses , the Wissahickon which was designed by A.W. Tillinghast (also designed Winged Foot and Baltusrol among many other top courses). The Militia Hill Course was opened in 2002 was designed by Hurdzan and Fry who were the original designers of this years US Open Course at Erin Hills. The Wissahickon Course was recently restored in 2013 and is now ranked #30 in the US by Golf Week as a Classic Course. . This puts it in a league with Merion, Aronimick, and Pine Valley in the Philadelpia area.
In June of 2016, the Cricket Club will hosted the Senior Constellation Tournament. The Tournament was won by Bernhard Langer. This is your chance to play the same course as Langer, Daly, Watson and other stars of the Senior Tour
