Item Description
This certificate entitles the holder to an exclusive, private tasting event with Master Sommelier and winemaker Paolo Barbieri, of Barbieri Wine Company, for six people. This event will take place at Mr. Barbieri’s tasting room located in Los Olivos, California in the heart of Santa Barbara wine country. Sip and Savor the taste of Rhone, France in the beautiful quaint setting of the Santa Ynez Valley, while learning about wine from one of 247 Master Sommelier’s in the world. Please inquire for appointment after purchase.
Paolo first worked in numerous restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he helped develop and create several wine programs for different restaurants. Eventually he moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1998, and helped open casinos such as the Bellagio, Wynn, and Cosmopolitan Hotel. He was privileged to work with James Beard and award winning chefs like Marc Poidevin, Alex Stratta and Scott Conant. His enthusiasm, commitment, and devotion of long hours of study as well as tasting wine eventually won him the Master Sommelier diploma.

If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email lisa.herz@bridges.edu by May 10th and we will do so at your expense. Larger items can be picked up in Studio City, CA or shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are as follows: $8 for small boxes, $14 for medium boxes, $19 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. In the event that your item requires additional postage you will be notified and your card will be charged. Bridges Academy is not responsible for items lost in the mail.
