Title & Artist:  "Rainbow Sail" – by Elaine Caliri Daly

Medium & Size:  Acrylic on wood.  21 7/8" L x 8 5/8" H x 3/4" D.  For indoor display only.

Artist Statement:  Color and rhythm and the sea—my favorite images to paint! And sailboats!

Artist Biography:  I hold a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and studied at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, and the DeCordova Museum. I belong to the Marblehead Arts Association, Copley Society of Boston, New England Sculptors Association, North Shore Arts Association, and Experimental Group of the Rockport Art Association and Museum.

My first portrait was at age sixteen, of my grandmother! And I'm still at it. Created greeting cards after college and currently teaching at the Marblehead Arts Association—Adventures in Watercolor!

A triple winner at the Marblehead Festival of Arts in one year, I feel very fortunate to have won many prizes locally and throughout the North Shore. I show my work at the Copley Society in Boston and Arnould Gallery in Marblehead, as well as in private collections throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan. I work at Porter Mill Studios in Beverly.

Hosting Business:  "Rainbow Sail" is on display at Marblehead Sports Shop, 26 Hawkes St., Marblehead, MA.

Item Special Note

Pick-up of purchased cods will be on Wednesday evening, July 5. Winning bidder will receive a notification email with information on pick-up time and location.

If winning bidder requires shipping, winner's credit card will be charged a separate $24.95 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.

Any cod purchased via "Buy Now" will remain on display at the hosting business through the end of the auction, and will be available for pick-up as detailed in the winning bidder notification email.

If winning bidder has not picked up cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
