Item Description
Egene (Gene) Cernan was a NASA astronaut who, on Apollo 17, became the 11th person to walk on the Moon and the last man to re-enter the Lunar Module. As of today, he is the last man to have walked upon the moon's surface.
In the late 1980s, Gene Cernan visited The Discovery Museums and gave a presentation to over 500 people. He donated his Kodak carousel of slides to the Museums, and now you have the opportunity to own this one-of-kind set of slides.
Slides include amazing images of space, the moon landing, and the astronauts.
