Item Description

Formed in 1981, the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation is nestled in one of the most unique winegrowing regions in the world. It begins just south of San Francisco and spans the mountain range between the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific, running south to the Monterey Bay. Mountain terrain, marine influence, varied micro-climates, and distinctive soils combine to produce ideal conditions for high quality winegrowing. The association consists of more than 70 wineries, most of them family-run, working to promote the unique aspects of their wines and region. The small size of their wineries allows for greater attention to detail and a hand-crafted wine quality that maximizes the potential of the grapes grown here.

Each bottle of wine hails from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Your case contains the following:

  • McHenry: 2013 Estate Bottled Pinot Noir
  • Bargetto: 2014 Regan Vineyards Reserve Pinot Noir
  • La Honda Winery: 2014 Sequence Pinot Noir
  • Thomas Fogarty: 2012 Razorback Vineyard Estate Grown Pinot Noir
  • Clos Tita: 2012 Estate Bottled Pinot Noir
  • Kings Mountain Vineyards: 2010 Estate Grown Pinot Noir—Santa Cruz Mountains: Woodside, California
  • Loma Prieta Winery: 2012 Estate Pinot Noir
  • The Mountain Winery: 2013 Estate Pinot Noir
  • Soquel Vineyards: 2013 Partners' Reserve Library Selection Pinot Noir
  • Windy Oaks Estate: 2012 Limited Release Pinot Noir
  • Alfaro Family Vineyards & Winery: 2014 Trout Gulch Vineyard Pinot Noir

Total of 12 bottles of wine.

Thank you, Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association.
