Item Description
A special tour for 4-6 people with Society President Bill Dunlap!
The Society's 1911 building at 30 Park Street, Concord was designed by architect Guy Lowell and features a monumental sculpture group by New Hampshire-born sculptor Daniel Chester French. The building, considered by many to be the finest example of public architecture in New Hampshire, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Visit the remarkable storage areas (as the Society can only display less than 10% of its holdings, you can only imagine what's hiding in those closets, on the racks and hanging from the ceiling!), go behind the scenes in the library, learn about the digitalizing of the entire collection--and more!
Mutally-agreed to time before June 1, 2018.
