Berkshire Hills lets your child enjoy day camp this summer, and still get a taste of resident camp life and the Berkshire Hills experience before school starts.

Rookie Camp packs all the fun of camp into a five day experience for first time campers. Rookie camp begins on Wednesday, August 23rd and ends on Sunday, August 27th. Everyone at Rookie camp is new so all the children get to learn the camp routine together. Rookie Campers follow our traditional camp schedule. They have cabin activities in the morning, electives in the afternoon and unit activities in the evening. Your child will enjoy swimming, sports, arts, nature and campfires before the week is up.

Rookie Camp ends with a family picnic on the shore of our lake. Parents and friends are invited to join their child from 11:00am to 2:00pm for a great afternoon of fun at camp. When Rookie camp ends, your child will be ready to return next summer as a veteran.

Item Special Note

Terms: Open to only NEW campers entering 2nd-6th grade. Must be used for Rookie Camp 2017 (August 23-27)

Payment: Your credit card will be automatically billed after the close of the auction and will incur an additional 3.5% fee.  By bidding on an item you are agreeing to this fee. In addition, all mailed or shipped items will have fees added on as indicated below.

Shipping: Items will be mailed once we receive confirmation that your credit card has cleared. If you prefer to pick up your item, you will have until Friday, May 26th to notify our office and make arrangements.

Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at the following rates (with insurance added automatically as noted below):

• Small Items: Gift certificates and similar items (letter rate under 1 oz.) will incur an additional $1 shipping and handling charge
• Larger Items & Oversized Items:  Only available for pick-up as indicated in item description

Insurance: For items valued over $50, postal insurance will automatically be added to your total at the following rates:

$3 - ($50 -$200 value); $6 - ($200-$400); $9 - ($400-$600)
