Item Description
Gen. John Stark (1728-1822) a New Hampshire native, fought with Rogers' Rangers in the French and Indian War. A hero of the Revolutionary War, his signature victory was at the Battle of Bennington where he led his brigade to capture nearly the entire opposing British force. Stark is most popularly known for the toast he proposed in 1809 to commemorate the Battle of Bennington " Live Free or die-death is not the greatest of evils."
The limited edition bobblehead is 7" high and fashioned after the John Stark statue in Concord.
