Item Description
You are bidding on a priceless adventure picking apricots in David Packard's Apricot Orchard! Private visit may include up to 3 families.
Come and see what Santa Clara Valley looked like before it was named Silicon Valley!! The largest remaining apricot orchard in Silicon Valley is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - but your host knows the Secret Handshake!
Come pick 20 pounds of apricots and your host will pay your tab. (If you want to pick more then you can pay for more.) The orchard is a short drive from the Los Altos campus and families are welcome to linger and bring their own picnic lunch if desired. This adventure is suitable for ages 4 and up since many trees have low-lying branches full of delicious fruits for the shorter in stature to harvest!
The fruit is usually ripe towards the end of June and maybe early July and we will pick on a Saturday morning. Please be in touch with your host in mid June to determine which Saturday we will go picking!

Item Special Note
Expires June 2017
Donor will make arrangements with winning bidder after the auction is over. Up to 3 families may participate in the harvest but must all attend the orchard on one visit.
