Via online polling, the People’s Choice Awards gives fans the opportunity to honor their favorite entertainers in movies, music and television with a variety of award categories, including “Favorite On-Screen Match-Up”, “Favorite Tour”, and “Favorite Celebrity Judge”, and “Favorite On-Screen Chemistry”. This year you’ll have the chance to sit among the shining celebs as they take home this coveted Waterford crystal trophy! This awards show is truly in your hands, from the winners to the categories, and you don’t have to wait until January for the fun to begin - the voting starts now! Six categories are currently eligible for online voting on www.PeoplesChoice.com/pca/categories, and it’s up to you to cast your vote! The top nominees will be added to the pool for the next show. Potential new categories include “Favorite Comedic Movie Ensemble”, “Favorite Country Music Group” and “Favorite TV Character We Miss Most”, which aims to honor fan-favorite characters such as Sandra Oh’s “Christina Yang” on Grey’s Anatomy, and Josh Charles’ “Will Gardner” on The Good Wife. As a fan, you’ll also have the opportunity to write in your own submissions for the “Favorite Humanitarian” category, which honors celebrities who have given back to their communities, such as Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Hudson, who have been awarded this honor in the past. |
