Item Description
Shakespeare has a permanent home in Fort Greene at TFANA aka Theatre for a New Audience. The gorgeous theatre was especially designed for the Bard’s work, and you will see one of his most challenging comedies with two tickets to Measure for Measure.
Simon Godwin, Associate Director, London’s National Theatre, stages Measure for Measure, William Shakespeare’s dark comedy about justice, faith, power, sex, and family. Jonathan Cake (Benedick in TFANA’s Much Ado About Nothing), Cara Ricketts (Imogen in Cymbeline at Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Ontario), and Thomas Jay Ryan (Thomas Putnam in The Crucible on Broadway) lead a company of 12 actors in a high-stakes conflict of clas ideologies–a diverse world in which incompatible values collide.
TFANA productions consistently have earned prestigious nominations and awards, including the Drama Desk, OBIE, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel and Tony.
Item Special Note
