Item Description
Title & Artist: "Poisson Coloré" – by Pamela McCabe Haley
Medium & Size: Acrylic on wood. 21 7/8" L x 8 5/8" H x 3/4" D. For indoor display only.
Artist Statement: My inspiration for this particular piece came from the beautiful colors in nature that emerge as the seasons change from Winter to Spring. I have tried to create an impressionistic painting conveying how light, combined with movement, gives the cod that fluid shimmer through the water.
Artist Biography: I am a resident of Marblehead and received a B.A. in Studio Art from Kenyon College. An independent artist, I am primarily a jewelry designer but also work in other media, such as painting and knitting. I absolutely love the use of colors, whether it is through paint, gemstones, or fibers, and I am inspired by organic shapes found in nature.
Hosting Business: "Poisson Coloré" is on display at Seaside Allure, 9 Pleasant St., Marblehead, MA.
