Item Description
Winner will receive a Diagnostic Learning Evaluation from Lindamood-Bell
The learning evaluation is a variety of nationally normed diagnostic tests that measure a variety of skills including vocabulary, word attack, word recognition, spelling, reading comprehension and math. The results from this evaluation are then used to understand the individuals’ strengths and weaknesses and provide appropriate recommendations for instruction.
Lindamood-Bell believes that all children and adults can be taught to read and comprehend.
For nearly 30 years our research-validated instruction has proven successful for struggling readers who are just starting to learn sounds and letters, those who are not "getting" what they read, and students who wish to excel, to those who have been previously diagnosed with learning challenges.
Our instruction is based on a theory of cognition—reading and comprehension are cognitive acts—and can address the global needs of learners.
An accurate Learning Ability Evaluation is the first step in teaching children and adults to learn to their potential.
