Item Description
At For Art’s Sake, older children can work to build a portfolio for entrance to the specialized art schools for high school students. Students interested in a specialized art high school start working on portfolios as early as sixth grade.
Many For Art's Sake students have gained valuable experience that has earned them spots at La Guardia High School of Art, Art and Design High School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts and other art programs in NYC. They will be prepared for all aspects of the specialized art school entrance exam, including drawing from a live model, drawing from the imagination and learning how to talk and write about their artwork.
For Art's Sake students are fully prepared and confident as they enter the audition process for all high school art programs. Other services in preparation for portfolio showings include matting and labeling portfolios for presentation.
