Item Description

This is a beautiful giclee of an oil painting by beloved Hawaii artist Carol Adamson Greenwell. It's entitled "Kealapuali Open Gate" and measures approximately 13" x 15" in its solid wood frame.
Carol Greenwell studied art in Honolulu with Gloria Foss at the Foss School of Fine Arts and taught drawing to children at the school. Since then she has studied with several well known artists including Lau Chun, Alan Lightner, Darrell Hill and Edwin Kayton. She is involved in many community organizations on the Big Island and has done signature designs for the Kona Coffee Festival, Family Support Services and Kona Outdoor Circle's Pua Plantasia. She works mostly in oil paints creating portraits, landscapes, seascapes and still life.
