Item Description
Here is your opprotunity to own a classic framed photograph by Richard Kettles, whose pieces have been featured in the San Francisco MoMA & the Sanchez Art Museum.
Richard Kettles: "I have been interested in photography since childhood. My interest became a passion in 1987 after documenting a conservation trip to Alaska. Soon after I began studying photography and printmaking at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I am also fortunate to have studied under some of the best photographers and teachers of today including Richard Garrod, Phil Davis and Kerik Kouklis. My photography has gravitated towards black and white images as I attempt to reflect the mood and elegance of the environment around me. I work in many formats and enjoy working in both the traditional and digital darkroom as well as using vintage methods such as platinum palladium. Night Photography holds a special interest to me as the subtlest of light has its own unique beauty."
