"A full-color children's book filled with delightful photographs, "The Miracle" tells the sweet story of a young girl who finds a little blue speckled egg in the roots of an old oak tree. A conversation with her mother helps the girl learn about the value and sanctity of life, even before the baby is born." Specially written for children ages 5-10 years."

"I just received and read “The Miracle”. It is a beautifully written story in which a mom answers her young daughter’s questions about the beginning of life. The little girl asks “Wasn’t I just a part of you, until I was born?” The mom answers “Oh no,” YOU were always YOU.”
The photographs set in nature are the perfect visual background for the explanation of the miracle of life’s beginning told after the discovery of a blue speckled egg. This is a wonderful book for moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas to share with youngsters to help them understand the beginning of life."

"This lovely little book is a sweet story about a little girl learning about the earliest moments of life. There are really two central messages of the story. The first is that the mother is the eternal protector of her child, whether it be an unborn baby on up to an adult. The second is probably more important - that you have always been you, from the moment you were created well before birth. It's a great book for parents who want to discuss personhood from conception with their children, and I think it would also work well as a new brother/new sister book. The perspective feels fresh (not always easy for a book about babies) and the crisp, bright pictures add to the peaceful feel. Very enjoyable story."

"This book demonstrates "the miracle of life" theme on every page. The color scheme is spring-like and soothing, the photographs are professional and beautifully developed. Of course the story itself teaches the lesson that life is precious while at the same time maintaining the innocence of childhood."
