Item Description
The table top is sassafras. It was solar kiln dried, hand flattened, all cracks and voids were filled with marin grade epoxy resin. The top has a 4”x7” mutli-layered butterfly inlay which covers a large void. The butterfly inlay is made of cherry, maple and walnut woods. The base is made of walnut and the construction is mortise and tenon.
The table top is 1-3/4” thick by 13”-16” wide by 54” long. It is live edge, stands approximately 30” high and is finished with two coats of shellac and two coats of satin polyurethane.
