Item Description
The table top is silver maple. It was solar kiln dried, hand flattened, all cracks and voids were filled with marine grade epoxy resin. Additionally the top as three bowtie inlays which prvent the epoxy filled cracks from getting larger. The inlays are made of walnut. The base is trestle style made of maple from the same tree as the top and the construction is mortise and tenon.
The table top is 3” thick by 24”-28” diameter, stands approximately 30” high and is finished with two coats of satin polyurethane.
