Item Description
The predecessor to Honolulu Magazine was "Paradise of the Pacific" magazine, born in January 1888, with the blessing of King Kalakaua. It changed its name in 1966 to Honolulu Magazine and has been in continuous publication for 125 years, making it one of the oldest magazines in the United States, rivaling such titles as Scientific American (1845), The Atlantic (1857), Cosmopolitan (1886) and National Geographic (1888).
These 5 issues are from the 1960s and 1980s and have fascinating stories of Hawaii, "back in the day". These highly sought-after magazines are in very good condition. See photos for years and articles.
