Item Description
Part of a larger "Luau Dinner/Poi Supper" set.
This is a set of 10 (4.5"across & high) Hawaiian coconut luau poi bowls. Each bowl has a "K" brand on it for Kahua Ranch.Although they were part of a larger "Luau Dinner" set (see other Hawaiian Koa bowls and coconut cups in this auction) they also have a myriad other uses as separates, like when you want to serve a large tropical drink or individual Hawaiian-style salads. These large party sets were popular in the 1930s/1940s and these bowls are not the "cheapie" ones stuck together with glue that tourist traps sell nowadays. Collect the whole "Luau Dinner" set for your next big party or just bid on one item as a separate.
