Item Description
William Wingert is an impressionist painter, known for his serene, yet stunning Hawaiian landscapes and buildings that capture the spirit of Hawai'i Island. He studied art with Lew Cohen and Armen Gasparian at Laguna Beach School of Art and is now passing on his knowledge to students in West Hawaii where they explore light and shadow, thin to thick paint applications and the language of color.
This piece is entitled "Coffee Shack" and was painted "plein-air" at Kona Historical Society's Kona Coffee Living History Farm, which celebrated it's centennial in 2013. It was framed by Kona Frame Shop with a rustic wood frame and cream linen liner. It measures 16"x21".
