Henri Rogers, in the 1960's produced a good number of Parisian street scenes that became and are still immensely popular. Using a palette knife he created impressionistic scenes that are easy on the eyes. A lot of his paintings seem to come out of the same neighborhood and always from a different perspective. One could imagine him living in the same area, occupying the same bistro and then packing up his paints and walking home. Courtesy of Adelson Galeries
