Item Description

Pascal Lecocq Painter of the Blue & Shark Conservationist

Meet Pascal for lunch or dinner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Pascal Lecocq has been exhibiting his work across Europe for the last 30 years and his paintings can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. He is famous for his images of divers in surreal situations, enveloped in remarkable blue vistas.

Pascal loves telling stories, be it a matador diver “bullfighting” a shark, or a Shark Research Institute-CSI dive team investigating a crime scene at which a shark was finned. His work reflects his imagination, dreams, poetry, and humor. (And he just may draw on the table during lunch or dinner.)

Pascal is a graduate from the University of Paris with a doctorate in Art. His pictorial research and color work point to his great admiration of Van Eyck and Vermeer while his landscapes show the influence of Dali. His work is extremely personable and his touch is smooth, bright, and delicate.

Item Special Note

The objective of this auction is to spotlight individuals and organizations working effectively for ocean conservation, and raise funds for field research, education and conservation projects.

Being auctioned is dinner or lunch with one the world’s foremost shark experts or celebrities. This is a unique opportunity to “talk shark” face-to-face, one-on-one, with a real authority on sharks.

How it works:

  1. Bid on a celebrity, shark scientist or conservationist that lives or works in your area, unless you are willing to drive or fly to meet them in their area.
  2. The winning bidder pays for the lunch or dinner and may bring guests.
  3. We will introduce the winning bidder to the celebrity, scientist or conservationist. The two of you then set a mutually agreeable date, time and place to meet within one year of the close of the auction.

All winning bids are deductible from US Federal 2017 income taxes as Charitable Donations.
