Item Description
You are bidding on a pen and ink drawing done on a wooden frame titled Silent Night by local artist Elizabethe Ricci. The piece measures 6" x 4".
Elizabeth Ricci is a self-taught artist who began drawing cartoons from the newspaper comic strips at about the age of eight years old and has not put her pencil down since.
As you adult she did take a few courses at RISD and she has been a member of the East Greenwich Art Club since 2005. She specializes in portraits and has places in second and third place in several art shows.
Of this piece Liz says, "Christmastime, as well as the winter season, is very special to me and I like to express the joy in what I refer to as my 'black and whites.' With any luck, and perhaps a little imagination, you can view this piece and imagine a more peaceful and idylic time in your life."
