The Crucible is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts education organization that fosters a collaboration of arts, industry, and community. Through training in the fine and industrial arts, The Crucible promotes creative expression, reuse of materials, and innovative design, while serving as an accessible arts venue for the general public in the Bay Area. Known for one-of-a-kind industrial arts education programs, The Crucible is also highly regarded for its innovative performances.
At The Crucible, classes are designed for beginners as well as experienced artists and tradespeople. Our hands-on classes average one instructor for every six students, guaranteeing that each student receives personal attention and learns technical methods in a format that allows them to gain practical, working knowledge of material processes. There are more than 124 exciting classes scheduled, from glass blowing, blacksmithing and ceramics, to kinetics, MIG welding, Bell Casting and much more!

Although there is no expiration date on the certificate, you are encouraged to register within one year of the date of issuance.
The value of the gift will be applied toward the cost of the class tuition and material fee or lab of your choice. If the cost of the class tuition and materials or lab selectionis more than the gift amount, you'll be asked at the time of registration to provide payment for the remaining amount.
If the value of the class tuition and materials or lab selection is less than the maximum of the gift certificate there will be no refund. Certificate has no cash value.
