Camp should be fun for campers and worry free for adults. That is why at High Meadow Day Camp we maintain traditional summer camp values, while working year-round to prepare and offer the best summer camp facilities in the area. Our campers are excited to board the camp bus every morning and their parents are confident in choosing us. We are what summer is meant to be!
High Meadow Day Camp is located on Route 189 in North Granby, CT and has been providing great day camping for children ages 4 through 15 years old since 1960. In all those years we have learned the basic truth about all kids - they just want to have FUN! There's an abundance of fun to be had at High Meadow Day Camp and as our campers play and enjoy their summer days they also master new skills, overcome challenges and build confidence. At the same time they develop special friendships and come away with memories that last a lifetime.
The facilities and programs offered are of the highest quality. High Meadow Day Camp is nestled within over 100 acres of meadows and woodlands. Our facility is comprised of pristine grounds, a heated swimming pool, state of the art challenge courses, a rustic lodge for meals and camp gatherings, groomed sports fields, a horseback stable and miles of horseback riding trails, and breathtaking views. Our accreditation by the American Camping Association assures parents that we have met the highest health and safety standards in the camping industry. We are also inspected and licensed annually by the State of Connecticut.
