Some Yelp reviews:

  • So this is an adorable little piece of nostalgia that used to be East on US 40 for years. Was used in a music video and then ultimately sat empty with the demise of so many businesses. The structure was moved west a few miles and permanently located on the west end of Plainfield. Scrubbed, put back together it's an old fashion diner feel when you walk in. Their sodas are hand crafted. The cup of chili was great and the tenderloin was outstanding.
  • It's not very often that you find a diner that has great food that's all homemade, but this place hits the ball out of the park! And they charge a little more than most diners so they can deliver you with great food, which we are perfectly fine accepting.

  • We have been twice and had the burger, tenderloin, Reuben, pecan pie, strawberry shortcake, fries...every single thing was incredible. The strawberry shortcake is one you've probably never had. Homemade strawberries with syrup (that isn't that canned gelatinous crap) on top of a homemade, thick, warm, moist shortbread, topped with a scoop of old fashioned ice cream and whipped cream...this baby is nothing short of amazing! The tenderloin was crunchy on the outside and so juicy on the inside - they know their stuff! My spouse loves the Reuben on rye. The pies are homemade and it shows, with a nice flaky crust and not at all mushy inside like many pies you'll find.
