Item Description
Multi-wood Ikebana
A Japanese ikebana vase may be tall, narrow, or shallow with a flower frog (series of pins, affixed to a flat disk or mat) that hold flower and plant stems in place. This multi-wood (cherry, maple, mahogany) ikebana has been turned on a lathe and is approximately 5.25” in diameter and 2” high and finished with polyurethane (making it water resistant). Traditionally, it would hold three flowers of varying heights. The ikebana was turned by Karl Reichardt of Christ Lutheran.
