Floatation Therapy Explained:

Also known as R.E.S.T. (restricted environmental stimulation technique), floating is a therapy that helps you find that calm by removing all external stimulation so you?re able to truly let go and relax and the results can be spectacular.  Their float rooms contain 10 inches of water and 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt creating a solution so buoyant that it allows you to float effortlessly and gives a sensation of weightlessness that cannot be found anywhere else on earth.  The water is heated to skin temperature allowing your body to simply melt away and this, along with the restriction of all light and sound, creates a pure state of ?sensory? relaxation.

Under these unique conditions, more commonly referred to as sensory deprivation, your body has the opportunity to reconnect with its natural ability to self-regulate and restore, while you simply lie back and rediscover the pleasure of a deeply relaxed mind.

For first-time floaters, it is common to have an overload of thoughts in the mind and tension in the body for the first few minutes of the float session. As you continue to relax and breathe deeply, realizing that no effort is needed to stay afloat, your mind will begin to quiet and your body will begin to release its tension. This is when the real benefits of floating take place.

Most people report looking younger after an hour of floating, and first-time floaters remark feeling happier, healthier, more positive, confident, as well as an increase in sensory awareness for several days after floating. The deep sense of relaxation after a float can carry with you for days afterwards and as you master the process of letting go with regular float sessions, those days can turn into weeks!

A Better Me Spa Suites provide you with a private floatation room. They have three available on site, and each includes your own private shower, dressing area, and float room. These rooms were custom designed for clients to be extremely user friendly.

Online and Mobile Bidding: These items will be available for bidding online prior to the event. Online bidding will continue during MKE Rock for Locks. Attendees will also be be able to continue bidding on-site using their mobile device. THERE WILL NOT BE A PAPER BID SHEET FOR THIS ITEM. Bidding on these items will run from Aug 17, 2017 until the close of the silent auction on Sept 9, 2017 at 5:30 pm. Items can be paid for in cash or check at time of sale if preferred.

Pick up at Rock for Locks or within two weeks of events conclusion within Milwaukee area only. Will meet within reasonable distance.  

Item can be shipped, USPS shipping charges will apply and will be added to total of final sale.
