Item Description
2 bottles of 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon by Anomaly Vineyards
Anomaly specializes in the production of the highest-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. The first vintage of Anomaly was harvested in 1997 and made by us, "budding garagistes." Buoyed by the praise of our 1997 vintage, we embarked on the journey of obtaining a permit to produce Cabernet Sauvignon by building a small winery adjacent to our small vineyard.
2010 | The 2010 Anomaly is complex both in aroma and in flavor. We are enthralled by dark notes of clove, tar, and anise in the bouquet. The mouthful is cool, elegant, and sturdy; it is replete with fresh fruit flavors of blackberry and plum. The wine has a gentle flow from front to back, buoyed by fresh acid and svelte tannins. Note from May 2017 tasting: Layers of German chocolate cake and cherry cola. Dark and dense, this wine is pure pleasure.
Item Special Note
If winning bidder lives in San Francisco Bay Area, bottles will be delivered by hand. Otherwise, wines will be shipped and insured via USPS and shipping charges will apply to winning bid.
