Item Description
Oil
18" x 22" x 1"
Marian Wrightington continues to paint the things that she loves. It's not only fun, but also gratifying when others appreciate them! This year she exhibited at the Evelyn Silva Gallery at Hill Roberts School in Attleboro, MA. To inspire the younger generation, she spoke with four 4th grade classes about her paintings and the fact that there are many local artists among us, right here in Attleboro!
Framed in rough gray wood, this oil on canvas board is titled "Beauty in the Breeze.” Among Marion’s favorite flowers, irises intrigue her with all their parts. This is an older piece and was shown at the Mansfield Music & Arts Society in 2001 where it received a third-place ribbon in adult painting. Just looking at it, you can almost see the flowers moving in the breeze, from off the lake beyond.
