Item Description
Originally presented as a series of 12 teachings for monthly subscribers in October 2001, the Jewel Ship by Longchenpa, Teachings by Lama Tharchin Rinpoche have been reissued on 7 DVD's and in digital format, otherwise available only to current Heart Teachings monthly subscribers.
Lama Tharchin Rinpoche says of this text: "This is a most essential and ultimate teaching... It gives the essential pointing-out instructions on the essence of mind, the ultimate Buddha, our own original abiding nature. It is called The Jewel Ship because it shows how to cross the ocean of samsara in one instant." The teachings are based on the Jewel Ship, also known as the Kun-Jye Gyalpo (available in translation as “You Are the Eyes of the World” by Longchenpa, translated by Kennard Lipman & Merrill Peterson, Snow Lion Publications, 2011 Second Edition.)
Responding to the requests of students, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche established Heart Teachings in 2000 and began producing a monthly series of video Dharma teachings to support the practice of his many heart friends.
