Item Description

To the lucky person or couple who is the successful bidder, a very special treat is in store near the village of Lautrec.  The donor is offering two days staying in an 18th century presbytere (rectory) with meals and wine prepared by her husband, the British actor famous as the original Captain Ross Poldark, Robin Ellis, who is also author of three cookbooks on Mediterranean cuisine.

This guest house is not normally rented out so this is a very special treat, especially with gourmet meals and wine. The guest space has one large double bed.  Food can be provided for vegetarians and those with other diet restrictions.

Tarn, where the home is located, is one hour from Toulouse and 30 minutes from Albi, where the world's foremost museum dedicated to the artist, Toulouse Lautrec is housed. Castres, the next charming market town boasts of the Goya Museum with a complete set of his etching. There are also wonderful open air markets throughout the region.

Special Notes:

Vacation packages are non-refundable and buyers must make reservations within one year from winning.  That said, if a mutually-agreeable time cannot be found between donor and bidder, exceptions can be made.
