Item Description
Sky Dancer from Garuda Trading is an extremely rare quality Bhutanese loose incense mix. It is entirely hand gathered and blended by Buddhist monks in Singye Dzong. It is perfect for daily sang offerings and special ritual ceremonies. The recipe has been prized by Buddhist practitioners in Bhutan for hundreds of years and because the region is so remote it has become even more sought after.
Garuda Trading was established in 1999 and provides fine quality dharma items from the Himalayan regions. The company is based in Cornwall, surrounded by ocean, in the southwest of England. Their online collection expands at a pace that keeps step with their understanding of the items they source. Their interest is due partly to seeds planted during owner James Wainwright's early Buddhist years as an ordained monk. As practicing Buddhists, the view of right livelihood has been extremely important to the manner in which the business has unfolded. Positive customer feedback shows that Garuda Trading continues to contribute to helping the buddhadharma flourish outside of Asia. It is a great source of joy to the owners to know that, in some small way, they help the dharma practice of others.
