Item Description

Ink on Paris paper

26" x 20" x .75"

Kiki Maples is a Navy veteran who was born and raised in Adrian, MI. She has shown at the Flanagan Art Gallery, the Attleboro Arts Museum, and the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative. She has always been interested in the workings of the mind, which has trickled into her artwork. She fluctuates in creations, from the light and whimsical to the dark and disturbing. Maples currently lives in Pawtucket, RI.

“Mermaid – Ariel” is an inkwork on paris paper. Having served in the U.S. Navy, Maples has a penchant for all things nautical, and wanted to incorporate some color into her usually black & white inkworks.
