Ann-Marie Gillett began her art career with a BS in art education from RI College. She continued her studies in painting, ceramics and printmaking at RISD, Bennington College & Mass. College of Art & Design. She was a visual arts teacher and department head at the Wheeler School for most of her teaching life. Recently she returned to her studio practice full time and has exhibited her work with 19 on Paper at the Fitchburg Museum; Warwick Center for the Arts; and had solo shows for Gallery 175, and the Turks Head Gallery for Gallery Night in Providence RI.
“Mandala #33” is taken from of a long series of explorations done by Ann-Marie Gillett that uses the symmetrical organization of a mandala to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Each mandala in the series is unique and created by a technique developed by the artist that uses hand painted artist tape intricately cut with scissors and assembled on board.

The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 7-11, 2017. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
