Brand Napa Valley Wine Tasting for 4 + Magnum of BRIO Red Wine

In 2005, Brand Napa Valley owners Ed and Deb Fitts purchased land on Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley. Three acres were already planted on site from which their first wine was made. Today the property is 110 acres of which 12 acres are planted to grapes.

The amazing Brand winery was designed by Architect Juan Carlos Fernandez (also known for designing the cave at Cade Winery and nearby Nine Suns) and is a beautiful blend of both form and function.

For this auction, Ed and Deb have created an incredible wine tasting experience for 4 in their Brand Napa Valley winery. For a taste of what you'll experience, watch this video.

In addition, they are providing a 1.5 L Magnum of their premier 2014 BRIO Napa Valley Red Wine. This precocious and captivating wine exudes profound notes of blackberry, coffee, licorice, and cocoa. Full-bodied and refined, it is deeply layered with delicate nuances of graphite and baking spices. The silky tannins resonate with a lush, balanced finish. Here is further information on the wine:

VINEYARD - At 1,250 feet, overlooking Lake Hennessey on Pritchard Hill is the well-drained rocky red volcanic soil that rests above the cloud and fog line–the ultimate vineyard environment of BRAND Napa Valley.

VINTAGE - The 2014 vintage was another eventful year in Napa Valley with the August earthquake and the third consecutive year with below normal rainfall. The vines were awaking two weeks earlier than normal but managed to produce healthy canopies with bountiful yields. The lack of late season rain took the pressure off of the vintners allowing the grapes to hang until optimum aroma and flavor profiles were achieved.

VINIFICATION - Grapes were sorted in the field and winery, and then fermented in small, jacketed stainless steel tanks. Barrel aging occurred in 60% new French Oak for 23 months before the wine was then bottled without fining or filtration. TASTING
